Sensei Shingo Ohgami Course

Sensei Ohgami came to Teesside on 8th and 9th May. All who attended were treated to a fantastic session on Pinan Nidan and Pinan Shodan.  Pictures from the course will be uploaded soon but they are available on our Facebook site.  Search "Teesside Wadokai" and request to join the group. :-)

Congratulations to our Competition Winners, (pictured below), who correctly answered the bowing etiquette question:

"What do the students say in response to the command "Otagi Ni Rei" at the start and end of the lesson?"

Answer: At the start "Onegai Shimasu" and at the end "Arigato Gozaimashita"

1st prize:   Ella Hunton
2nd prize:  Jack Dodds
3rd prize:   Rebecca Hudson

Well done to all who answered correctly and hopefully we´ll have another competition in the New Year.

There is plenty of opportunity to train at any of the Clubs we have within the association, as you move up the grades it is very beneficial to practice your Karate more than once a week, click the link next to the club on the Contacts page if you need more information.

Remember Licences must be renewed yearly, this is your responsibility, so check the date and click here to download a form.  Hand completed forms to your Sensei.
