In July we will be hosting Sensei Shigeru Kato and Sensei Keiji Katsube, both 7th Dan JKF Wadokai, on Teesside. Details can be found HERE.
The weekend of April 20th and 21st saw the association hold its first Spring course. As with the other courses this included a chance for any students who were ready to grade and also a competition for junior students.A full list of competition results is available on our Junior Section.
Many students from across the association took part in what was a very well attended course. The grading also included two students taking their junior second dan - Congratulations to Caitlin Rich and George Stevens from Glossop who successfully passed their grades!

The Association has a new name, we are now registered as All Britain Wadokai.

Japanese Karate Federation Membership
The association is now a full member of the Japanese Karate Federation (JKF). We are registered under the name Tyne Tees Wadokai.
Stockton Borough Council Club Booster Project
The WKF is now a member of the Stockton Borough Council Club Booster Project, supported by the NHS Trust. The aims of the Booster Project are to provide quality opportunities for participation in sport and active leisure provision in order to meet the needs and aspirations of the entire community.
